Streamline Ordering

We are making an effort to improve our order entry accuracy. These are the ways we are kindly asking for you to send your orders containing the following info:

• Our item numbers
• Description
• Unit of Measure
• Order quantity

We would like orders for most or our delivery routes to be received by 11:00am the day previous to your delivery. If your order requires a 2-day lead time, we will let you know. Please email orders to orders(at)sunfoodtrading.com.

Units of Measure

Getting familiar with our units of measure: We use Case, Each, Pound (a few select items are bag, box).

Examples: Mussel pack size is 12/2lb. 1 case will be 12/2lb. 1 each will be 2lb. Green cabbage you can order by case, pound or each. 5 each cabbage will be 5 heads of cabbage.

Order Methods

Your Internal PO System: Does your organization use procurement software? We love those.

Web Portal order: Place your order on the website. We try to keep it up to date, but if you don’t see an item you’re looking for, please ask and we’ll see what we can do. Don’t have an account? Please contact us and we’ll open one for you.

Google Sheets: Create and share a Google sheets file with you. Enter the desired quantities and send directly from the file. Or you can sort by the ordered items and copy & paste into the body of the email. You are not limited to the items on the sheet, you can add new items, and we can maintain it by adding our item numbers and descriptions.

Your own spreadsheet: We will create an Excel file based on your order history and email to you. You can order by attaching the file to an email, or copy & paste into the body of the email. If you already have your own spreadsheet, please add the info on your end, or send the file to us to add the necessary information.

Type into the body of email: We can enter from this method, but the accuracy is lower due to lack of our item numbers and unit of measure.

Text Message: Same a typing into the body of email, we can enter from this method, but the accuracy is lower due to lack of our item numbers and unit of measure.

Call in your order: Please call (206) 682-8823 and we will be glad to take your order over the phone.
